Corona pandemic has put our lives to a standstill . With the constant , gripping fear of what comes next , citizens of various countries are continuing their lives , some still under complete lockdown and some with relaxation

Even though lockdown has been partially lifted in certain places, seeing the number of rising corona cases , strict precaution measures are being implied . But in highly populated countries such as India , in certain places crowd can still be seen , which is completely ignorant and wrong way to go about . The danger of Covid-19 has not yet past , it’s still very much there .

Although the end to this pandemic is unknown , the “new normal” will definitely comprise of social distancing , masks , gloves and washing of our hands regularly.

Although lifting of lockdown is good for migrant labours and other such help workers , we need to main social distancing and take preparatory measures , before returning to our own work place , otherwise there will be a spurt in cases in India . Other changes that’ll be there include temperature sensors at public places and quarantine measures will be put in place if an infection is detected in a workplace. Middle seats won’t be sold in flights; every other seat will be empty in theatres – perhaps forcing the managements to hike . 

LOCKDOWN LESSONS – 

We quickly adopted the “Work from home” strategy and moved online for our entertainment purposes . We learnt to do our household work and realized the importance of even the seemingly most meagre jobs .

Lockdown basically showed us that less is more.

And while we stayed locked inside our homes, the birds came back to our gardens, the air became cleaner and the sky clearer.
